Ingredients
Air Fryer Bacon
- Thick-cut bacon: You can use thin-cut bacon or even turkey bacon if you prefer, but you will have to adjust the cook time slightly.
- Oil spray: Spraying the air fryer basket helps keep the bacon from sticking to the basket. Keep in mind you do not want to use a spray with additives as it could damage the non-stick coating in your air fryer. Use a natural oil spray, such as avocado oil (our favorite), without any additives. Learn more: Our Favorite Oils to use for Air Frying.
Air Fryer Eggs
- Unsalted butter: Use unsalted butter so you don't wind up with salty eggs!
- Large eggs: Farm-fresh eggs work best, so if you have access to them, we recommend. Otherwise, use grade A large eggs from your grocery store.
- Salt and pepper: A sprinkle of salt and pepper is the only seasoning you need for these eggs. We recommend kosher or sea salt and freshly cracked black pepper for best results.
- (2) 4-inch ramekins or cake pans: You will need these to cook the eggs. Don't use a larger size, as the eggs will spread out too much and won't cook correctly.

Instructions
Air Fryer Bacon
Step 1 - Spray the air fryer basket with oil. Alternatively, use an air fryer parchment paper liner for easy clean-up. Keep in mind bacon might not be as crispy using a liner.
Step 2 - Place the bacon slices into the air fryer basket in a single layer.
Step 3 - Air fry at 350°F for 10-12 minutes, flipping each bacon strip halfway through. Carefully remove the bacon strips to a plate lined with paper towels, to drain.
Air Fryer Fried Eggs
Step 1 - Place butter in each ramekin and add the ramekins to the air fryer basket.
Step 2 - Air fry at 400°F for 2 minutes to melt the butter.
Step 3 - Remove the air fryer basket. Carefully crack an egg onto a small dish, being careful not to break the yolk. Carefully slide the egg into one of the ramekins. Repeat with the other egg, sliding it into the remaining ramekin.
Step 4 - Close the air fryer basket and set the temperature to 375°F. Air fry the eggs in the butter for 4 minutes for over easy eggs with a runny yolk. You do not need to flip the eggs. Carefully remove each ramekin - they will be very hot - from the air fryer basket and keep warm until ready to use. Season to taste.
Air Fryer Toast
Step 1 - Place bread in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
Step 2 - Air fry at 400°F for 5-6 minutes, flipping each slice of bread halfway through the cook time.
Step 3 - Remove toast from the air fryer and plate with bacon and eggs!
Fried Egg Cooking Times
This recipe is for over easy eggs with a very runny yolk. If you prefer your yolk cooked further, refer to these cooking times:
- Over medium - 375°F for 5 minutes. Over medium eggs have a set yolk that is just slightly wet.
- Over well - 375°F for 6 minutes. Over well eggs have a fully set yolk, like a hard boiled egg.

Tips
- Air frying bacon: 10 minutes is just crisp bacon that still has a little bend and chew to it. If you prefer your bacon to be extra crispy, cook for 11-12 minutes. For best results, check it at the 10 minute mark and then air frying in 1 minute intervals until it reaches your desired crispiness.
- If you like your bacon less crispy, check it at around 8-9 minutes, instead. Either way, keep in mind, bacon will crisp up a little as it cools.
- If using thinner cut bacon, reduce the cook time slightly. We are using Wright brand Applewood thick-cut bacon.
- Air frying eggs: Using butter is an important ingredient to keep the eggs from sticking, but it also helps keep the eggs from getting rubbery and adds great flavor too! We do not recommend using oil spray for the eggs, as they tend to stick and get rubbery.
- Air frying toast: 6 minutes in the air fryer, flipping halfway through, will toast the bread to a nice golden brown on both sides. If you prefer it extra dark and crispy, leave it in for another minute or so. For less crispy toast, check it at around 5 minutes.
- Cook time may vary depending on your specific air fryer model and size. You may need to adjust the timing according to your model.
- Recipe time and temperature is based on a cold air fryer. If cooking multiple batches, check on them early, as they will cook more quickly than the first batch.
FAQ
You should not air fry bacon and eggs at the same time. Eggs and bacon require different cook times, and do not cook well together. Cook them separately for best results.
Air fryers are perfectly suited to cooking bacon, just as an oven would be. Air fry bacon at 350°F for approximately 10 minutes for crispy bacon that still has some bend to it, or 11-12 minutes for extra crispy bacon.
