Why air fry pizza rolls?

  • It's fast: Pizza rolls can take a while to make in the oven. It's not just the cooking time, but the preheating time! When you air fry pizza rolls, they're ready in just 8 minutes. You don't even have to preheat your air fryer.
  • No extra oil: You don't need any extra cooking oil to make these easy air fryer pizza rolls.
  • It's convenient: Because you don't have to have anything prepared ahead of time to make them, you can pop these pizza rolls in the air fryer last minute and have a quick and simple meal everyone will be happy about. They're perfect for busy weekdays or sleepover parties!

Ingredients

Bag of Totino's Pizza Rolls.
  • Frozen Pizza Rolls: We're using Totino's Pizza Rolls for this recipe, but you can use your favorite brand of frozen pizza rolls. Other brands include Annie's Pizza Poppers, Michelina's, or your store's brand. They can have any filling inside you prefer, like plain cheese, pepperoni, or supreme.
  • Dipping Sauce (optional): Okay, you don't need a dipping sauce! But who doesn't love dipping pizza in ranch dressing or marinara sauce? We recommend choosing your favorite dip for pizza and serving it with these air fried pizza rolls.

How to Air Fry Pizza Rolls

Step 1 - Place frozen pizza rolls in a single layer in your air fryer basket. Make sure not to overcrowd the basket. If you're cooking a large amount, you may need to prepare them in batches.

Step 2 - Air fry pizza rolls for 8 minutes at 400°F. Halfway through the cook time, shake the basket to flip the pizza rolls so they cook evenly on all sides. Carefully remove and serve. Caution: They are hot!

Note: If you're using a toaster oven style air fryer model with a tray, such as the Breville Smart Oven Air, you will need to preheat your air fryer before cooking, and the pizza rolls will take about 10-12 minutes. The temperature remains the same.

Recipe Tips

  • Cook from frozen – Do not thaw first.
  • Don’t crowd the air fryer basket. Cook in batches if necessary.
  • Cook time may vary depending on your specific air fryer model, so check regularly to get the perfect pizza rolls every time!

Serving Suggestions

  • Dipping Sauce: We love pairing these pizza rolls with a dipping sauce like ranch or marinara.
  • Other Appetizers: For an appetizer spread perfect at a game day party, pair these pizza rolls with Air Fryer Frozen Onion Rings or Air Fryer Tater Tots.
  • With Greens: It'll be easier to get those picky eaters to eat their greens if you serve them alongside these pizza rolls with dip on the side. Try our Air Fryer Broccoli!
  • With Garlic Butter and Parmesan Cheese: Dip these pizza rolls in garlic butter and sprinkle on some Parmesan, and it will completely transform them. Give it a try!

Storage Instructions

  • Store leftover pizza rolls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. When reheating, reheat in the air fryer at 400°F for about 2-3 minutes or until heated through.

FAQ

Do I have to air fry Totino's pizza rolls, or can I use another brand?

You can use another brand! Pick your favorite. Just keep in mind that if they're differently sized, the cook time may vary.

Can I use homemade pizza rolls?

While making pizza rolls with your own homemade pizza dough and fillings is rewarding, this recipe cannot be used to make them. Frozen pizza rolls come fully cooked, which means they take less time to air fry. Air frying homemade pizza rolls will take longer.
