Why air fry Totino's pizza?

  • It's so crispy. The air fryer's cooking process ensures a crispier crust than other methods, like oven-baking.
  • It has a short cooking time! It takes just 10-12 minutes to make Totino's Party Pizza in the air fryer, so you can have it ready in a rush. This is a great recipe when you're feeding kids and need a quick dinner on the table!
  • You don't need to preheat the air fryer. It's true! Unlike other methods, you don't have to preheat the air fryer when air frying Totino's pizza.

Ingredients

  • Totino's Party Pizza: This square frozen pizza comes in a variety of flavors, from simple pepperoni and cheese to triple meat, supreme, and even hamburger. Pick your favorite! You'll find them in the frozen foods aisle of your grocery store.

How to Air Fry Totino's Pizza

  1. Remove frozen Totino's pizza from the packaging, and discard the packaging.
  2. Place the frozen pizza directly in the air fryer basket. You won't need any cooking oil spray or vegetable oil, and we advise against using any as it may make your pizza too greasy or even soggy.

  3. Air fry Totino's Pizza at 400°F for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese melts and is lightly browned.
  4. Remove the pizza very carefully from the air fryer basket using a spatula. It will be very hot, so do not touch it with your hands!
  5. Resist the temptation to enjoy it right away! Rest the pizza a few extra minutes before serving. When it's ready, serve it with your favorite dipping sauce if desired, and enjoy!

Recipe Tips

  • Cook from frozen – Do not thaw first.
  • Cook time may vary depending on your specific air fryer, so check regularly to get the perfect pizza every time!
  • Make sure to use a spatula when removing the pizza from the air fryer. You will burn yourself if you touch it directly.
  • We include nutrition in the recipe card below, but please check the packaging of your pizza for the most accurate values.

When to Serve Air Fryer Totino's Pizza

  • Serve it as an after-school snack for kids! These pizzas make an easy snack that will keep them happy until dinner.
  • Cut it into strips and dish it out as an appetizer for game day.
  • Enjoy it as a quick snack for a movie night!

Should I use air fryer parchment liner when making pizza?

You can, however, we don’t recommend lining the air fryer basket if you want a crispy crust on your pizza. Both parchment paper and aluminum foil could make the crust soggy. We prefer the crispiness you get without using a liner.

Storage Instructions

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat them in the air fryer at 400°F for 2-3 minutes or so to maintain their crispy texture.

Cleaning Up

Pizza can be a messy treat to prepare in the air fryer. Follow the tips below to get it cleaned up once it cools off!

  1. Allow the air fryer to cool down before cleaning.
  2. Wash the basket, tray, and any accessories you may have used with warm, soapy water.
  3. Unplug the air fryer and wipe it down inside and out.

FAQ

Can I use other frozen pizzas in the air fryer?

Can I add extra toppings to the pizza?

Of course! Feel free to customize your pizza with extra toppings like peppers, cooked onions, your preferred protein, or additional mozzarella cheese before air frying.

Can I reheat the pizza in the microwave instead of the air fryer?

While you can reheat the pizza in the microwave, using the air fryer will give you a much crisper result, preserving the pizza's original texture.
