Why air fry Red Baron deep dish pizza?
- It's quick: Between waiting for it to preheat and the 24 minute cook time, it can take more than 30 minutes to prepare these personal pizzas in a conventional oven. But it takes just 15 minutes or less to air fry Red Baron pizza to perfection - that's less time by half or more! Air frying is a quick way to enjoy your favorite frozen pizza.
- It's convenient: You really don't have to do anything special to make air fryer pizza. Just unwrap it, place it in the basket, and cook straight out of the freezer for a delicious meal everyone loves.
- It gives you better results: Thanks to the air fryer's hot air circulation, when you air fry frozen pizza, it develops a crispy pizza crust and gooey, perfectly cooked cheese that browns on the top. You won't even need the silver cooking tray. It's much better than baking it in the oven, where it won't crisp up as much, or worse - cooking it in the microwave where it'll get soggy and floppy!

How to Air Fry Red Baron Frozen Pizza
Step 1 - Preheat your air fryer to 350°F. While it preheats, remove the pizza from its plastic wrap and discard it along with the silver tray. Note: If your air fryer does not have a preheat function, simply let it cook at 350°F for 5 minutes without anything in the basket.
Step 2 - Once preheated, place the frozen pizza in the center of the air fryer basket. (If you have a model with a tray, see the instructions below these.)
Step 3 - Air fry the pizza for 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the top of the pizza is lightly browned.
Step 4 - Use a spatula to carefully remove the hot pizza from the air fryer basket. Use caution—it's hot! Let it rest for a couple of minutes before serving as a main course for pizza night, or even as a snack.

- Don't crowd the air fryer basket. Cook in batches if necessary!

Red Baron Pizza Toppings
Don’t be afraid to get creative with your Red Baron Deep Dish Pizza by adding extra toppings like sliced olives, bell peppers, or onions before air frying. You can even add spinach for a little bit of green! We don't recommend adding garlic, though - it can burn. If you want to try roasting garlic, see our Roasted Garlic recipe! Otherwise, you can add a sprinkle of garlic powder for added garlicky flavor.
For other topping ideas, you can add a little spice with red pepper flakes, or drizzle a little olive oil over the top for added richness.
Storage Instructions
- If you happen to have any leftovers (though it's hard to resist finishing the whole pizza), store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat them in the air fryer for about 3-5 minutes for that fresh-out-of-the-oven taste. We recommend you don't microwave the pizza, but if you do, use a microwave-safe plate and place it on a paper towel to soak up any moisture.
