Ingredients
- Frozen turkey burger patties: You can use any brand of frozen chicken patties you prefer. For example, Trader Joe's turkey burgers are a great choice.
- Oil spray: Use a high smoke point oil such as avocado oil or olive oil in a spray bottle. Do not use a non-stick cooking spray with additives, as it can break down the non-stick coating of your air fryer. Learn more: Air Frying Oils.
- Chili rub seasoning: We use a chili rub seasoning for our turkey burgers, but you can also use your favorite burger seasoning or a simple mix of salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Cheddar cheese: Cheddar cheese is a great choice for turkey burgers, but you can use any cheese you prefer. Just make sure it's sliced and melts well!
- Hamburger buns: Use your preferred brand of hamburger bun. Brioche buns are usually our bread of choice for turkey burgers!

FAQ
Frozen turkey burger patties generally take a total time of around 18 minutes to completely cook in the air fryer. However, all air fryer models are different. This is why it's important to use an internal meat thermometer to measure the temperature of each patty. They will read 165°F when they are done cooking.
