Air Fryer Mahi-Mahi

Ingredients
  

  • 4 Mahi-Mahi fillets
  • Oil spray
  • 1 tablespoon Chili seasoning divided
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.
  • Pat mahi-mahi fillets dry with a paper towel. Spray both sides of each mahi-mahi fillet with oil spray and season with chili seasoning to coat each mahi-mahi fillet well.
    4 Mahi-Mahi fillets, Oil spray, 1 tablespoon Chili seasoning
  • Place the mahi-mahi fillets in the preheated air fryer basket in a single layer.
  • Air fry 5-7 minutes. At 5 minutes check the internal temperature with an instant read thermometer inserted into the thickest part. It should be between 130-140°F. If not up to temperature, air fry another 30 seconds to a minute and check the temperature again.
  • Allow mahi-mahi to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  • To serve garnish with fresh parsley, if desired, and enjoy!

Notes

  • It's important not to overcook the fish, as it can become dry and lose its flavor and tenderness, so be sure to check the temp with an instant read meat thermometer. 
  • Serve mahi-mahi over rice, as a salad topper, or a sandwich. These fillets also pair well with cauliflower rice for a low carb air fryer dinner, as a topper in rice bowls, and they make great air fryer fish tacos too!
  • Cook time may vary depending on your specific air fryer model. As always, use the cook time and temperature as a guide until you are more comfortable with your specific brand of air fryer.
  • If cooking in multiple batches, be sure to check on the remaining batches early, as they may cook more quickly.
