Notes
Scoring hotdogs: Use a sharp knife to make small, shallow, diagonal slits in each hot dog. Don't cut all the way down, just slightly cut 3-4 diagonal slits into the top of each hot dog.
We used Aldi’s Parkview Uncured Angus Beef Hot Dog. They are delicious!
We used top slit brioche buns which are absolutely delicious and don’t need to be buttered before toasting.
Use an instant read thermometer to check internal temperature. Insert the thermometer into thickest part of hot dog.
Cook time may vary depending on your specific air fryer model. As always, use the cook time and temperature as a guide until you are more comfortable with your specific brand of air fryer.
If cooking in multiple batches, be sure to check on the remaining batches early, as they may cook more quickly.
