  • Set the air fryer to 250°F, and cook for 16 minutes for hard boiled eggs, 9 minutes for soft boiled eggs, or 12 minutes for jammy eggs. You may need to adjust the cook time based on your air fryer model.
  • Carefully remove the hot eggs from the air fryer using tongs, and immediately place them into an ice water bath for 5 minutes.
  • Once cooled, you can safely crack the shells and peel the eggs. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Using an ice bath is an important part of this recipe. Make sure to use one to stop the cooking process.
  • Always handle hot eggs with tongs. We're serious - they are HOT! You don't want to touch them directly.
  • Don't crowd the air fryer basket. The eggs should have enough room between them to cook properly.
  • Green yolks? Shorten the cook time. They're overcooked if they have a green ring and are too crumbly.
  • Remember, all air fryer brands are different. You may need to experiment with the cook time to get the right temperature for you. We also do not preheat our air fryer - if your air fryer is hot when the eggs are added to the basket, you will need to lower the cooking time by a couple of minutes.
