Fruit Salsa

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups fresh pineapple diced
  • ¼ cup red onion finely diced
  • 1 jalapeño seeded and finely diced (about 2 tablespoons)
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
  • juice from ½ lime
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro chopped (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Combine 2 cups fresh pineapple, ¼ cup red onion, 2 tablespoons 1 jalapeño (diced), ¼ teaspoon garlic powder, ¼ teaspoon kosher salt, and the juice from ½ lime in a bowl and stir to mix. Give it a taste and adjust flavors to your liking.
  • Add ¼ cup fresh cilantro if using, and gently mix through.

  • Taste test and adjust flavors according to your preference.
  • You can use any fresh fruit you prefer, but we highly recommend using fresh fruit, and not frozen or canned.
  • Unlike fruit salad, you want fruit for salsa to be diced finely. Make sure to cut your ingredients into a fine dice.
