How to Air Fry Cinnamon Rolls

  • If you're using an air fryer parchment paper liner, place it in the air fryer basket now. These liners are invaluable for preventing sticking, and make clean-up a breeze, so we highly recommend using them when possible.
  • Separate the cinnamon rolls at the perforations by gently pulling them apart. Arrange them in a single layer, cinnamon side down, into the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd the air fryer. If you're making more cinnamon rolls than you have space, cook them in batches.
  • Cook the cinnamon rolls at 320°F for 8 minutes, then use tongs to carefully flip them. Air fry for another 6 minutes at the same temperature.
  • Once your cinnamon rolls are golden brown and cooked through, transfer them to a serving plate. Frost the warm rolls evenly with the icing. Serve, and enjoy!

Notes

    • Place the cinnamon rolls in a single layer without overcrowding for proper air circulation.
    • If you have air fryer parchment liners, use them to prevent sticking and for easy cleanup. We recommend using these rather than oil spray. Never use non-stick cooking sprays with additives, as it could break down the non-stick coating in your air fryer basket.
    • Start checking the cinnamon rolls a minute or two before the suggested time.
    • We used Pillsbury flaky cinnamon rolls in the 13 ounce can. If using a larger or smaller can of cinnamon rolls, you will need to adjust the total time. See cooking instructions for Pillsbury Grands Cinnamon Rolls in this article.
    • The entire package of refrigerated cinnamon rolls must be cooked once opened.
    • We have not tested this recipe for homemade cinnamon roll dough. However, this method should work. Just keep an eye on the cook time!
    • Cook time may vary depending on your specific model of air fryer.
    • Recipe time and temperature is based on a cold air fryer. If cooking in multiple batches, be sure to check on the remaining batches early, as they may cook more quickly.
