Ingredients
  

  • 1 head Broccoli medium size, cut into small florets; or, 24 ounces Broccoli florets
  • 2 Tablespoons light olive oil or avocado oil
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt kosher salt or sea salt flakes
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper freshly cracked black pepper works best
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter melted (optional)
  • Grated Parmesan cheese for topping optional

Instructions
 

  • In a large mixing bowl, toss broccoli florets with oil, garlic powder, kosher salt, and pepper to coat well.

  • Add 3 tablespoons of water to the bottom of the air fryer and preheat the air fryer to 400°F This creates a steamy environment to help the broccoli soften in the air fryer.

  • When the air fryer is preheated, add the seasoned broccoli to the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  • Air Fry at 400°F for 8 minutes, being sure to shake the basket halfway through the air frying time.
  • When broccoli is fork tender yet crispy and lightly browned, remove from the air fryer to a serving plate.
  • Drizzle with melted butter and top with Parmesan cheese if desired, serve, and enjoy!
